That's it, after the End of Season Party last night, the 2017-18 Season at the Philharmonie is officially over and the Summer will give everybody involved in the running of this amazing concert hall a well deserved break.
I thought I would put together a small selection of images I have taken during this Season to give a sense of what goes on inside and out of the Philharmonie through my lens. I guess you may be asking yourself "a small selection?", and yes I can honestly say it is a small selection compared to the hundreds of images I produce during the year. They all have some special appeal to me and I hope you find them appealing too.
I cannot stress enough how proud and happy I am to work as a photographer for the Philharmonie. It basically isn't work for me, I enjoy every minute of it. Furthermore, the different teams I have to deal with at the Phil are just superb. They are all people with artistic sensibility who enjoy what they do and I think that helps creating a very vibrant, cooperative and pleasant working atmosphere.
The Summer break will give me the chance to point my lens to some beautiful landscapes instead of the stage, something that I also enjoy immensely. I hope you can all enjoy a good break and have the chance to practice whatever makes you happy.
If you have a favourite image I would love to know :-) Take good care and I wish you all a very happy Summer!
